MY APPROACH

My journey with Astrology began very soon after my birth. My Piscean-Sun mother had my chart hand-drawn in color by a French Astrologer who had made his home in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, where my father was posted at the time. That chart and its accompanying text became a treasured companion that I consult regularly and which has deepened my fascination with this art form.  My most significant formal studies have been with Liz Greene's Centre for Psychological Astrology (CPA) in London.

The word astrology comes from the Greek Astrologia, meaning word of the stars. I know astrology as a symbolic language that allows us to organize human experience. I perceive the birth chart as a roadmap, the planets representing archetypal energies, alive and well within each one of us aiding us, goading us and challenging us. Our work is to learn how best to connect with these archetypal messengers and to integrate them into our personalities in our efforts to stay the course of our unique solar path.

I approach the birth chart as a sacred space where multiple dimensions of experience converge. I borrow from Evolutionary and Psychological Astrological traditions, focusing on the questions of why we are the way we are and what our souls incarnated on this earth plane to experience, rather than fixating on predetermined outcomes, because those do not exist. In my astrological readings, I am drawn towards ancestorship - exploring who and what came before us - as well as "calling" and "vocation," emphasizing what we came to Earth to offer, experience and accomplish. The power of the heart serves as the center and guide for these explorations, recognizing our place within the greater web of life and the deeper reasons that guide our existence.

As an artist, storyteller, and Metaphysician, I bring a multifaceted perspective to my astrological practice. My work is deeply rooted in my mystical Dharmic heritage which uplifts the interconnectedness of all things and roots into the deeper, often unseen forces at play in our lives.

In my readings, I focus on the story of a person’s life. Your story, your experiences come before the classical astrological interpretations which support the process of uncovering and connecting with what is genuinely in you and yours. This includes understanding your place within the larger ecological systems that sustain us all. At the same time, my attitude is practical. While deeply engaged with symbolism and spirit, I aim to offer concrete, real-world solutions that help my clients understand what their work in this moment is, and how it connects to the deeper reasons by which we live. In that way, my readings can serve as a container for transformational processes to root.

To facilitate this transformative space, I encourage you to share and dialogue with me. Prior to a reading, I ask clients to submit an intake form in which they are encouraged to share pieces of their personal history and the reasons for seeking a reading. This groundwork creates fertile soil from which the wisdom of your chart can fully flower.
